Terms of Service

Welcome to Lash & Beauty Lounge. By booking an appointment, visiting our studio, or using our website, you agree to these Terms of Service. Please read them carefully before proceeding.

1. About Us

Lash & Beauty Lounge is a private beauty studio located at 1048 Yonge Street, Toronto, ON M4W 2L4. We provide professional lash extension, nail, waxing, brow, and hair treatment services. Our booking system is powered by Square, Inc.

2. Appointments and Booking

All appointments must be booked in advance through our online booking portal or by contacting us directly by phone or email. Walk-in appointments are accepted based on availability but cannot be guaranteed. By completing a booking, you confirm that you have read and agree to these Terms of Service.

Consultation Requirement

Certain services — including Mega Volume Lash Sets, Bio Gel + Russian + Extensions, Hair Botox Treatments, and Brazilian Waxing — require a complimentary in-person or virtual consultation before an appointment can be confirmed. This ensures we can assess suitability and tailor the service to your needs safely and effectively. Attempting to book these services without completing a consultation may result in the appointment being rescheduled.

3. Cancellation and No-Show Policy

Cancellation Fee

A cancellation fee of CAD $50.00 will be charged if you cancel your appointment within 1 (one) hour of the scheduled start time. This fee reflects the time reserved specifically for you and the loss of income to the technician. The fee will be charged to the payment method on file or invoiced directly.

To avoid this fee, please cancel or reschedule your appointment with more than 1 hour's notice via the booking portal, by email at hello@lashandbeautylounge.ca, or by calling (416) 555-0192.

No-Shows

Clients who do not attend their scheduled appointment without any prior notice ("no-show") will be charged the full service price and may be required to prepay for future bookings.

Late Arrivals

We allow a 10-minute grace period for late arrivals. If you arrive more than 10 minutes late, your appointment may be shortened or rescheduled at the discretion of the technician, and the full service fee will still apply.

4. Health, Safety, and Suitability

Certain services may not be suitable for all clients. Please inform us of any allergies, skin conditions, eye conditions, medical conditions, or medications that may affect service delivery. We reserve the right to refuse or modify a service if we reasonably believe it poses a health or safety risk to you or our staff. No refund will be issued for services refused on safety grounds where the client failed to disclose relevant information.

Patch tests may be required for certain services, including lash extensions, tinting, and lamination. Failure to disclose known allergies or sensitivities releases Lash & Beauty Lounge from liability for resulting reactions.

5. Service Results and Refunds

We strive to deliver exceptional results. However, due to the individualized nature of beauty services, results may vary depending on your natural features, lifestyle, and adherence to aftercare instructions. We do not offer refunds on completed services. If you are unsatisfied with your service, please contact us within 48 hours of your appointment and we will work to address the issue at no additional charge where appropriate.

6. Aftercare Compliance

Many of our services — including lash extensions, lash lifts, brow lamination, bio gel nails, and hair botox treatments — require specific aftercare to maintain results and prevent damage. We will provide you with aftercare instructions at the time of your service. Lash & Beauty Lounge is not responsible for premature loss of results or adverse effects caused by failure to follow aftercare guidelines.

7. Children in the Studio

For safety and the comfort of all clients, children under 12 must be accompanied by a parent or guardian at all times while in the studio. Children receiving services require a parent or guardian to be present throughout the appointment. We are not responsible for the supervision of children who are not receiving services.

8. Studio Conduct

We are committed to maintaining a calm, professional, and welcoming environment for all clients and staff. We reserve the right to refuse service to any client who is disrespectful, abusive, or disruptive. In such cases, no refund will be issued for time already spent.

9. Pricing and Payment

All prices are listed in Canadian Dollars (CAD) and are subject to change without notice. Applicable taxes will be added at the time of payment. We accept all major credit and debit cards through our Square payment system. Cash is also accepted.

10. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, Lash & Beauty Lounge shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from the use of our services or website. Our total liability to you for any claim shall not exceed the amount paid for the specific service giving rise to the claim.

11. Intellectual Property

All content on this website — including text, images, graphics, and logos — is the property of Lash & Beauty Lounge and is protected by applicable copyright and trademark laws. You may not reproduce, distribute, or use any content without our prior written consent.

12. Governing Law

These Terms of Service are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the Province of Ontario and the federal laws of Canada applicable therein. Any disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Ontario.

13. Changes to These Terms

We reserve the right to update these Terms of Service at any time. Changes will be posted on this page with an updated date. Continued use of our services following the posting of changes constitutes your acceptance of the revised terms.
